Constitution
Singapore has a constitution. The constitution as established on the 31st of March 1980. It was re- printed three times. The first time was because of a change in the Malaysian Constitution. The second was because it was published by the attorney general from authorization by the President in March 20th, 1922. The third time was because it was yet once again, published by the attorney general but this time on July 2nd, 1999. Two basic principles are : " There shall be no surrender or transfer of the sovereignty of the Republic as an independent nation whether by way of merger of incorporation with any other sovereign state or territory." and "There shall be no relinquishment of control over the Singapore Police Force of the Singapore Armed Forces."
